The launch of Airtel's mobile service in Srilanka is expected to be delayed till next year, as the parent company in India hasn't granted few sanctions to start the operations.
India's leaiding mobile Operator Bharti Airtel was earlier, given license to provide 2G and 3G mobile services in Sri Lanka. Airtel was expected to launch its service from somewhere on December 23, 2008.
Now the services are expected to be launched by early next year.
The entry of Airtel, is expected to cut down the call charges in Sri Lanka.
