Google said to Replace Cash Gift With Android Phone

Google Inc., the internet's leading search engine is said to give its employees Android mobile phones instead of the cash gifts. Android is the new operating system for mobile phones from Google.

This mobile phone gift is expected to be a part of the cost cutting process in Google, owing to the bad global economy in coming days. Google Employees in countries, where Google Android mobile phones won't work - will receive about US $ 400, which is the cost value of the phone.

Last year Google handed out US $1000 cash gifts to most employees.
